Caitlin Gascon
Caitlin Gascon has experience in both the private and public sector.

Beginning her HR career in IT, she gained valuable experience in private sector human resources in the areas of recruitment, employee relations, compensation, learning & development and payroll.
Transitioning to Labour Relations provided an opportunity to delve into public sector industrial relations and gain expertise in recruitment and employee relations with over twenty unions and collective agreements.
Not-for-Profit management and working with immigrants on conversational English for interviews as well as working as a teaching assistant at Ryerson university has been an ongoing passion.
Caitlin earned her Masters of Industrial Relations and Human Resources from the University of Toronto as well as furthered her education at Schulich in Not-for-Profit Management and Human Resources.
Claudiu Filimon
Claudiu started his human resources career in healthcare. He was introduced to Recruitment in a unionized environment early in his career. He then moved on to a provincial agency and worked in employee relations in a non-union environment while still being exposed to recruitment which included recruiting for executives.
The next step in Claudiu’s career was in the Recruitment department of a highly unionized city agency. His portfolio included recruiting for special constables and the social service sector.
This eclectic experience has provided Claudiu with knowledge of HR related legislation and its application in the workplace along with recruitment best practices and contact with industry experts.
Claudiu has a BSc in Biology from York University which has allowed him to develop his analytical skills and attention to detail. He studied HR at George Brown College in the HR Post Grad Program which laid the foundation for his career in HR.
